Drug Sensitization
At the Africa Bridge Initiative, we are committed to fostering resilient communities by addressing critical challenges that impact the well-being of our youth. Our Drug Sensitization – Youth Initiative is a transformative program designed to tackle the intertwined crises of drug abuse and gender-based violence (GBV), while partnering with local leaders to create safer, more empowered neighborhoods.
Initiative Overview
Substance abuse and gender-based violence disproportionately affect young people, often perpetuating cycles of vulnerability and marginalization. Through targeted education, awareness campaigns, and community engagement, our initiative aims to:

Address gender-based violence
by challenging harmful norms, providing support to survivors, and fostering inclusive dialogue.
Strengthen community safety
through collaboration with local leaders, schools, and organizations to build trust and shared responsibility.
Prevent drug abuse
by equipping youth with knowledge about the risks of substance misuse and promoting healthy alternatives.
