Africa Bridge Initiative Drug Abuse Prevention Advocacy
Africa Bridge Initiative as an NGO in collaboration with NDLEA Lagos Command had an advocacy seminar with the Students of Ifako High School in Lagos Nigeria last year 2024. The project was part of the one year partnership project with the Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary education. we got an approval to embark on this project to more than 300 Senior Secondary Schools




The United Religions Initiative (URI) partners with the Africa Bridge Initiative (ABI)
The United Religions Initiative (URI) partners with the Africa Bridge Initiative (ABI), a URI Cooperation Circle (CC) in Nigeria, to foster interfaith harmony, peacebuilding, and community development through dialogue, education, and empowering religious leaders to prevent extremism, working towards shared goals like the UN SDGs and Agenda 2063. ABI focuses on youth empowerment, civic education, and connecting diaspora professionals with local development, aligning with URI's global network for practical action on economic justice and peace in Africa


Bournemouth University has signed an agreement with charity Africa Bridge Initiative (ABI) to provide knowledge and skills training to young people in Nigeria. The partnership will involve BU work virtually and in-country, primarily in Lagos with connections to other parts of Nigeria and Africa, to share knowledge through workshops and virtual meetings with ABI, contributing to United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) focused on reducing inequalities, building strong institutions and a strong civic culture.

The Africa Bridge Initiative (ABI) and the World Federation Against Drugs (WFAD) partnered to combat drug and substance abuse among youth, specifically through advocacy, localized training, and community engagement in Nigeria. The partnership functions primarily through ABI's status as a member organization of the WFAD. Their collaboration focuses on the following key areas- They work together to implement evidence-based prevention strategies, often marking significant events like the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (World Drug Day) to raise awareness.
